ABOUT

Yewki is the progression-first ski and snowboard tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Start a session, put your phone in your pocket, and Yewki finds your runs and lifts by itself. It logs top speed, vertical, distance and time for each run. A live map shows where your crew is on the mountain, resort maps keep working without signal, and the Apple Watch app records the whole day from your wrist. Days group into trips that you share with friends. Every day on snow earns XP toward levels, tiers and titles that carry across seasons, and resort leaderboards settle who had the best day. Yewki is built by Andyy Hope, a snowboarder and iOS developer in Melbourne, Australia. It is free to download on the App Store in English and Spanish, with an optional Yewki Pro subscription.

KEY FEATURES

- Automatic run tracking. GPS finds every run and lift by itself and logs top speed, vertical, distance and time. The phone can stay in a pocket all day.
- Progression across seasons. Every day on snow earns XP toward levels, tiers and titles that carry over from one season to the next.
- Live crew map. See where your friends are on the mountain right now, as they ride.
- Trips. Group your days into trips, invite your crew, and compare the whole trip day by day and run by run.
- Resort leaderboards. Compete on each resort's leaderboards and take its crowns.
- Apple Watch. The Watch app records the whole day. Start, pause and check your stats on the chairlift, gloves on.
- Maps without signal. Download a resort map before you go. It keeps working when the signal drops, and every run draws itself as a GPS trace.
- Siri, widgets and Live Activities. Start a session with your voice and keep the day's numbers on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

FOUNDER

Andyy Hope, Founder and developer

Andyy Hope is an iOS developer and snowboarder from Melbourne, Australia. A first day on snow in 2015 started a habit of questions: how fast, which runs, and am I actually getting better?

Andyy built Yewki alone, on weekends, late nights and early mornings, to answer those questions for every rider.

"Ski apps gave me numbers, but nothing in them showed me I was getting better. I wanted every day on the mountain to count toward something, and to share that with the crew I ride with."
— Andyy Hope, founder of Yewki
